Arcadia Apaches set the stage for historic CIF victory. For the first time in 40 years, Arcadia High School football team will go to the CIF-SS Division 8 championship game, by beating Alta Loma in the semifinals. Arcadia High School is already the champ of the Pacific League.
Arcadia City Council honors Arcadia High varsity football. Fee reviews and regulations on sidewalk vending also discussed. Arcadia High School Apaches went undefeated in the Pacific League Championships for the first time since 2003. They went on to play the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Finals for the first time in 40 years. In the end the Apaches lost by 3 points. Arcadia High School cross country runner Phillip Rocha receives most prestigious award in high school sports, the Gatorade Runner of the Year. He is the fastest runner in the country.
