Denny’s colorful windmill lights up Arcadia’s holiday spirits. The blades have been carefully fabricated and the official “turn-on” took place Friday, November 30. It now runs counterclockwise, 24-hours a day with LED lights. The restaurant used to be Van De Kamp’s.

In Arcadia, the semi-official results show the three seats will be filled by Bob Harbicht, Mark "Mickey" Segal, and Peter Amundson. Sierra Madre voted in Joe Mosca, Josh Moran and Nancy Walsh (uncertified totals).

Measure A passes in semi-official election returns, according to latest figures from Arcadia Unified School District. Measure A, the education parcel tax had 6,199 yes votes and 2,970 no votes. Out of 28,616 registered voters, only one-third came out to vote on this measure.
