Arcadia High School senior Arrushi Walia was given the Youth Trailblazer Award at the fourth annual Women in Green Forum for making an extraordinary impact through environmental leadership within her community. She has been a leader in sustainability on her school's campus.

American Heart Association recognizes Arcadia Methodist Hospital (AMH) for its commitment to and success with heart attack patients, in implementing a higher standard of care that effectively improves the survival and care of STEMI (ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction) patients.

Winners received nighttime riding lights and electric horns. The awards were the culmination of bicycle safety instruction offered at Arcadia playgrounds throughout the summer by William Goodman. Jockey Rodolfo Arvizu will receive the 2014 White Horse Award for his selfless effort to rescue fellow jockey Annie Von Rosen this past March, when her horse suddenly collapsed and trapped her underneath, at Turf Paradise. The White Horse Awards will take place at The Derby Restaurant in Arcadia, October 30.
Arcadia AAUW presents Carol Dennis with their 2012 Woman of Achievement Award. Past President Betty Harris received a certificate from the National AAUW for her 50 years of membership.
Honorees of Arcadia Chamber 2015 Business Awards include Patricia Colonello of Mountain Views News. Business Person of the Year went to Kin Hui of Arcadia, CEO of Singpoli Group. Business of the Year went to Sierra Auto Honda, a family owned business. Raquel McLaughlin and her mother were awarded New Business of the Year.
