View across parking lot toward Topper's Drive-In, which opened in December of 1941. It was located on NW corner of Baldwin and Huntington Drive and was owned by C.A. Price (according to info in Rancho Santa Anita Scrapbook #5, p.45). Around sides of building are signs reading: Sandwiches, Fountain dinners and Dining Room.

It was located at the Drive-In Market area at SW corner of Huntington and First Ave. It was the place of business closest to Huntington Drive. Otto Petersen bought it in 1929, according to Lorraine Petersen, Daughter-in-law. It had previously been called Odette's. (see photo #435)

Arcadia police continue to heavily ticket cars that frequent the area around the Burger Palace on Thursday nights in an attempt to curb drag racing and curtail other potential problems. Since July 8, 202 tickets have been issued.
