View across parking lot toward Topper's Drive-In, which opened in December of 1941. It was located on NW corner of Baldwin and Huntington Drive and was owned by C.A. Price (according to info in Rancho Santa Anita Scrapbook #5, p.45). Around sides of building are signs reading: Sandwiches, Fountain dinners and Dining Room.

Brothers James N. and Robert L. Walker built building and ran enterprise from 1931-1936. It was a favorite hang out for M.A.D. students.

Otto Petersen bought it in 1929, according to Lorraine Petersen, Daughter-in-law. It had previously been called Odette's. (see photo #435)
