Looking west on Duarte Road near intersection with Baldwin Avenue. Ericsson's Pharmacy is listed at 1201 S. Baldwin. West Arcadia Public Market was owned by Mr. C.M. Knott and was located at 1203 S. Baldwin. The new building under construction here on S.E. corner apparently at 1200 S. Baldwin was for the Bank of Italy National Trust & Savings according to 1928 City Directory.

Mr. Spickler was committee chairman for Arcadia Tournament of Roses Association benefit party held at Anoakia Saturday, January 31, 1976. Group picture of about 36 unidentified women. All appear to be wearing dresses. Part of a brick fireplace is visible. There are tables and chairs set up for a meal or party. An attached note read "Mrs. Woodward 2nd, 212 S. Third, 447-5236" so librarian has written that on the back of the photo.
Photos of three offices used by H.H.Goddard Realty through the years in business in Arcadia. One at top left was opened in 1947 at 904 S. Baldwin; the photo at top right was their office from about 1950 on and was at 1505 S. Baldwin Avenue. Lower photo shows office they occupy in 1980 at 1010 S. Baldwin.
Photo of swimming pool which apparently was enlisted men's pool located approximately where Bekins Storage is today (1970's, at 35 W. Huntington Drive). Mr. H.F.Paden, an officer stationed at Ross Field in 1919, says there was another officer's pool of field stone in what is now county park.
Shopping Bag Market (which is listed in 1939 City Directory at 1225 S. Baldwin) and the West Arcadia Service Station (apparently owned at this time by Blake Smith and Bruce Wetmore), located at 1221 S. Baldwin.
