57. Diners line up to get last meal at Rod's Grill. Rod's Grill at 41 W. Huntington Drive closed its doors February 12, 2023 after 65 years. Rod Wellman started the diner in 1946 in Alhambra. 85. Operation School Bell, begun in 1970 by the Assistance League of Arcadia, distributes supplies to children in need at the beginning of each school year.
