"The Senior Prom," Arcadia's float entry in the 1983 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, features dancing couples on a ballroom floor beneath floral chandeliers. The Arcadia Rose Court, with their escorts, are the dancers.

Members of Glenn Dyer Post of American Legion Drum & Bugle Corps are marching in Armistice Day Parade, 1934. They are at intersection of First Avenue and Huntington Drive. Arcadia Drive-In Market (aka Market Basket) can plainly be seen in background. None of marchers are identified.
A disc plow sits in field in this view looking north toward mountains. This was very shortly after Mauch family bought the 5 acres near Palm Avenue and Holly Avenue. The dirt road on extreme right is Holly Avenue.

Corner of Santa Anita Avenue and Duarte Road. Two unidentified men are standing at the corner next to a Chevron Sign. Bob Sible's Chevron Service, located at 5 W. Duarte Road, is partly visible on the right corner. The Bow & Arrow Grill at 11 W. Duarte Road is seen just west of the Chevron station. Both businesses are listed in the 1955 City Directory.

Price (according to info in Rancho Santa Anita Scrapbook #5, p.45). Around sides of building are signs reading: Sandwiches, Fountain dinners and Dining Room.
