Businesses just west of the corner at 713 West Duarte Road are Active Hair, Mail Boxes Etc., Sakana Seafood, Tender Loving Care TLC Realty & Mortgage, Hit's Coffee & Tea, Every Green Books. Damage to the Arcadia Public Library as a result of the Whittier Narrows earthquake. The earthquake measured 5.9 on the richter scale. This photo was taken in Technical Services, which had extensive water damage from a broken water pipe.

House at 22 E. Foothill Blvd. It housed a dress shop called the Copy Cat from about 1967-1975. During the 1930's and a bit into the 1940's, it was operated as a popular family restaurant. Prior to the Copy Cat years (about 1952-1960), Rita Thompson had it as her real estate office.

Seated at left is Dextra Baldwin Hopper, great granddaughter of E. J. "Lucky" Baldwin (daughter of Baldwin M. Baldwin). Seated at right is Rozella Baldwin Gilmore, an illegitimate daughter of E. J. "Lucky" Baldwin. Her mother was Martha Agnes Fowler, who was acknowledged in Baldwin's will.

"El Camino Real," Arcadia's float entry in the 1967 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. Father Serra, founder of historic California missions, is shown traveling the famed thoroughfare. Arcadia's Queen, Christine Ramos, graces the throne. The scroll is covered with yellow chysanthemums, gladioli, orchids and roses. A framed copy of this removed from wall outside Admin. office and currently stored in map case in basement, as of February 2017.

View of front entry to what has been called the O.D. Harris house at 15 E. Orange Avenue (now, Colorado Boulevard). Title Insurance & Trust checked the heritage for us and found the building probably was built in late 1880's for Southern California Floral Farm & Perfumery Co. Building stood until 1962. As of 1980, an apartment building was on that location.
