Photograph of a yacht. Handwriting along bottom of photo reads, "San Pedro 1915." Possibly the yacht Clara Baldwin Stocker was supposed to have purchased with part of her inheritance from her father, Elias J. "Lucky" Baldwin.

Mission bell from San Gabriel Mission hanging in rustic shelter built for it. Just how Baldwin acquired this bell is unclear. It was returned to the Mission in the 1930's. This is another of the Baldwin playing cards.

Large stone Maltese Cross erected on the Baldwin Ranch by Anita Baldwin, marking graves of the four American Derby winners owned by her father, Elias J."Lucky" Baldwin. The cross and horse's graves are now situated at the Santa Anita Race Track. There is a sign with all details of horses' names and races won.
Photo taken by TABER (studio) shows 31 of Elias J. Baldwin's African-American employees. Elias J. Baldwin hired them from the south in 1886 to come work on the Baldwin Ranch. There seems to be only one man in photo. All others are women and children. They are standing next to a building with a long porch; doors and windows open off of it. San Gabriel Mountains are seen in background.
These two long buildings appear to be buildings at the Balloon School. They have been left from the time that "Lucky" Baldwin's Santa Anita Race Track was on this site. There is considerable snow on San Gabriel Mountains behind.
Two women are seated on chairs with Edna Lenz standing directly behind them. Six other people are seen in background at dedication of Santa Anita Depot after it had been relocated to the Arboretum. Seated at left is Dextra Baldwin Hopper, great granddaughter of E. J. "Lucky" Baldwin (daughter of Baldwin M. Baldwin). Seated at right is Rozella Baldwin Gilmore, an illegitimate daughter of E. J. "Lucky" Baldwin. Her mother was Martha Agnes Fowler, who was acknowledged in Baldwin's will.
Photo of General John J. Pershing mingling with a group at Ross Field Balloon School. He is accompanied by other officers and there are a number of young boys eager to greet him. Across photo had been written "Balloon School Training" and "1920" and "General Pershing at Arcadia."
The library does not have a print of this negative. A print appears on p.65 of WHERE RANCH AND CITY MEET. Elias J."Lucky " Baldwin is pictured, circ 1903. It appears that he is playing poker. The hands of two other people are at either side and someone's foot is propped on the table in the front of the photo. Lucky is looking to one side and smiling.
Photo titled "Leave taking" has been copied from the deck of cards Baldwin had made. This is on the eight of Diamonds. It shows Elias J. Baldwin apparently getting ready to get into a light carriage. There appear to be two young girls bidding him farewell. In background are 3 women dressed for travel as well as one man. This photo belongs to the Huntington Library. It is shown here for research only.
View of intersection of Baldwin Avenue and Duarte Road. Service station on the NE corner was owned by Mr. Renshaw. There is a two story house just north of station. There has been a recent snow fall in the San Gabriel Mountains. Home to the north is F.E. Grote home.
