Baldwin and in 1928 Directory, it is 710 W. Duarte. Man in cap standing by pump apparently is owner, Bruce Wetmore.

Looking west on Duarte Road near intersection with Baldwin Avenue. Ericsson's Pharmacy is listed at 1201 S. Baldwin. West Arcadia Public Market was owned by Mr. C.M. Knott and was located at 1203 S. Baldwin. The new building under construction here on S.E. corner apparently at 1200 S. Baldwin was for the Bank of Italy National Trust & Savings according to 1928 City Directory.
View east on Huntington Drive from a position west of Santa Anita Avenue. Shopping Bag Market is on northeast corner of this intersection (Currently, the site of a Denny's Restaurant, noted 6/19/2013). Pine's Cafe was still located near the SW corner of Huntington Drive and First Avenue. A sign reading "19 cent Burger" in the middle is prominent, as if "Real Pit Bar-B-Q" on the left.

Moving picture theater is mid-way in block on south side of street. Church with tower on NE corner of Huntington Drive and Santa Anita Avenue was moved to South First Avenue about 1935.

American Lutheran Church, then at 1424 S. Baldwin, which was later home of Serbian Orthodox Church. Building was dedicated Nov. 12, 1939, enlarged in 1945 and sold in 1963 to Serbian Orthodox, when Lutheran congregation's new church was built on Duarte Road.
