Aerial view due south from a position almost directly over sharp curve of Colorado Street. Showing in this photo are the Track and Club House on a day of large attendance, the stables, and a training track. All along Huntington Drive and Colorado Street young trees have been planted. Old-time resident Reid Greer says that the large tree at the very left edge of photo about 2 1/2 in. from bottom is same tree as seen in photo #654, on flat ground just below knolls seen here, and therefore he places homes of Indians on ranch at this spot. Arcadia's first school house which was made over from a packing shed given by Elias J. "Lucky" Baldwin. This photo shows 26 people, students and teachers standing at door. It was located at corner of Santa Anita Avenue and Falling Leaf Drive. (street name later changed to Huntington Drive). Used from 1903-1907. Only Julian Fisher identified.
Arcadia's float in the January 1, 1980 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. It was titled WHITE CHRISTMAS. Riding on the float were: MarrLin Greathouse, queen; and princesses Judi Bithell, Laurie Churchman, Tina Borgatta, and Amy Pfau.

Charles Francis Earl is seen standing next to a tractor, holding his young son, William Earl. Behind the Earl's is the vacant lot Mr. Earl purchased in the mid 1930s when it was a hayfield. The vacant lot as seen in this photo is shortly before construction began on their home in late 1951 and early 1952. When constructed, the address was 1050 Paloma Drive. See also Photo #1634.
